<br class="">
The IEEE International Conference on Cyber Security and
Resilience (IEEE CSR) is an annual event sponsored by the
IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society.<br
class="">
<br class="">
<br class="">
DESCRIPTION & SCOPE<br class="">
-------------------<br>
The technological and industrial revolution brought by
complex <i>cyber-physical systems</i> (CPS) comes with new
threats and cyber-attacks that exploit their inherent
complexity and heterogeneity. These attacks have a
significant negative impact on the operation of various
services in critical sectors, like energy, transport, and
communications, which provide the vital functions that our
societies depend upon.<br>
<br>
Systems under attack, should exhibit resilience in the form
of graceful degradation and/or operational continuity and
fast recovery of core functions in order to avoid
potentially uncontrolled cascading effects. To this end, the
emerging field of cyber resilience can be understood as a
mixture of strategies, methods, and techniques to support
complex CPS adaptive capacity during cyber-attacks.<br>
<br>
The conference focuses on theoretical and practical aspects
of the security, privacy, trust, and resilience of networks,
systems, and services as well as novel ways for dealing with
their vulnerabilities and mitigating sophisticated
cyber-attacks.<br>
<br>

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<br class="">
---------------------<br class="">
The IEEE CSR 2023 conference will accept high-quality
regular research papers, Systematization of Knowledge (SoK)
papers, and industrial papers. The IEEE CSR 2023 also hosts
workshops that specialize into the conference’s areas or
focus on high-quality applied research and innovation
results obtained from cyber-security and resilience
projects.<br class="">
<br class="">
Submitted manuscripts should not exceed 6 pages (plus 2
extra pages, being subject to overlength page charges) and
should be of sufficient detail to be evaluated by expert
reviewers in the field. The conference (including workshops)
proceedings will be published by IEEE and will be
included in IEEE Xplore.</font></div>
<div dir="auto" class="" style="word-wrap: break-word;
-webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;"><font
class="" face="monospace"><font class=""><br class="">
The authors of selected accepted papers will be invited to
submit an extended version to special issues of
international journals. Detailed information about the
paper submission and guidelines to authors have been
posted on the IEEE CSR 2023 conference website <a
