This is truly bizarre.  In the internet era we
have 2, 3, maybe 4 or 5 people working on the same thing
and promising Maybe  to coordinate when they meet
in Linz. (Stephen, James, Mike, Bill(?), Bruce)
  Why not put one person's initial draft
work under a version control
system (CVS for example), and get on with it?

Are we coming up with competing proposals?  Does James
so distrust the mathematicians in the Colonies?
