Hi,

Well, you can use the attribution for anything you like. You can
actually
Attribute the OpenMath with its LaTeX encoding, MathML encoding, or
Anything you come up with that needs to be associated with that
particular
OpenMath object.

Grtz,
Manfred.

Subject: [om] Newbie questions on the meaning of the Attribution Element

Hey all, I'm a newbie to both OpenMath and to this mailing list. If
this has been well explained before, please forgive me, I haven't
figured out how to search the text of the message digest yet.

I'm still having trouble understanding Attribution elements and what
they are for. Are they only for describing the type of an object? Or
is there more to it than that?

Thank you,
Cem Karan
