 You don't, but that ticket just documents the example that made me aware
 of this issue.

 I see -- that makes sense, but it means that our concept of rendering (as
 we have it implemented, e.g., in the XSLTs, or in the wiki) is short-
 sighted:  I mean, if InvisibleTimes is the right symbol, but if it is
 placed between two numbers, some post-processing should be performed to
 avoid "2 times 3" being rendered as "23".
