First announcement conference  "E-learning and Mathematics"

The three departments of mathematics of the  Technical 
universities of the Netherlands in Delft, Eindhoven and Twente, 
united in the project TELMME, organize in cooperation with
SURF academy, CLUSTER and AMI an international meeting on


         E-learning and Mathematics
         June 6-7, 2011, Eindhoven

The conference/workshop will focus on various aspects of 
e-learning in mathematics:
 
 * Technology for E-learning and  Mathematics
 * Best practices of E-learning and Mathematics
 * Evaluations of E-learning in Mathematics
 * E-learning to bridge the gap between High school and 
   Bachelors and  between Bachelor and Masters studies


The program consists of invited lectures by
   
   Chris Sangwin (Birmingham), 
   Ulrich Kortenkamp (Karlsruhe), 
   Dirk Tempelaar (Maastricht) and 
   Paul Drijvers (Utrecht),


and open sessions on the 4 topics. 
Furthermore a DEMO session is scheduled.
 


We invite everybody with interest in E-learning and Mathematics to
actively
participate in the conference, by attending and/or
presenting recent  results related to the scope of the conference.

If you want to attend, please register before May 15, 2011 
by filling out the registration form at the conference website.
If you register after May 15, 2011, a registration fee of 
50 euro will be charged.


People intending to deliver a presentation or a demo of their software
are asked to submit an abstract to the Program Committee before April
15, 2011.
By May 15, 2011, the Program Committee will fix the program and inform
all those who submitted an abstract whether their contribution is 
accepted for a presentation or demo.
