Aims and Scope:
---------------
The Summer Simulation Conference 2013 (SummerSim'13) is SCS's premier
international conference in cooperation with ACM SIGSIM. The conference
focuses on modeling and simulation, tools, theory, methodologies and
applications and provides a forum for the latest R&D results in academia and
industry. 

A selected group of the best papers in SummerSim will be invited to be
published in a Special Issue devoted to SummerSim 2013. All authors are
encouraged to submit extended versions of their papers to the Special Issue
according to the guidelines found on webpage. 


Important Dates:

Special Sessions Proposals (Workshops, tutorials, etc.): Extended until
March 15th, 2013
Paper Submission:  Extended deadline is March 15th, 2013
Notification of acceptance: April 22nd, 2013
Submission of camera-ready papers: May 3rd, 2013
Camera ready:  May 15, 2013

We are seeking outstanding short paper (6 pages) submissions that will be
presented in a work in progress session at the conference. Short papers
should present interesting recent results or novel ideas. Student papers are
welcome. Paper submission is encouraged in any modeling and simulation

Submission Instructions
Prepare a 6-page paper using the Paper Formatting Guidelines for the
conference. All final paper submissions are to be made electronically to SCS
via the SCS Conference Proceedings Management System. For further
instructions, please refer to the Submission Instructions in the SCS
Conference Proceedings Management System web site. Submissions will be
peer-reviewed to ensure quality. Accepted short papers will be presented in
the work in progress session as well as the SummerSim'13 proceedings.
