CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2013 IEEE International Conference on Cyber, Physical
and Social Computing (CPSCom 2013)
http://www.china-iot.net/cpscom2013.htm
Beijing, China, August 20-23, 2013
=========================================================
INTRODUCTION
As an emerging cross-disciplinary research area, the Cyber Physical Sys-
tem (CPS) is attracting attention worldwide. A Cyber-Physical Systems is
a system featuring a combination of computational and physical ele-
ments, all of which are capable of interacting, reflecting and influencing
each other. Furthermore, social systems are evolving with cyber systems
and physical systems along with the popularity of online social network-
ing. With the advent of ubiquitous sensing and networking, future social
networks turn into cyber-physical interactions, which are attached with
associated social attributes.
The emergence of the cyber-physical-social computing will significantly
change the way we see the world. In the mean time, the convergence of
the physical, cyber, and social spaces will exhibit a variety of compli-
cated characteristics, which brings more open issues and challenges for
research communities.
The 2013 IEEE International Conference on Cyber, Physical, and Social
Computing (CPSCom 2013) will provide a high-profile, leading-edge fo-
rum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-art
advances and innovations in theoretical foundations, systems, infra-
structure, tools, testbeds, and applications for the CPSCom, as well as to
identify emerging research topics and define the future. CPSCom 2013 is
the 6th edition of the successful series, previously held as CPSCom 2012
(Besançon, France), CPSCom 2011 (Dalian, China), CPSCom 2010
(Hangzhou, China), CyberSocialCom 2009 (Hangzhou, China), and CPSC
2009 (Brisbane, Australia).
SCOPE AND INTERESTS
===================
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Track 1: Cyber-physical Systems and Society
Track 2: Social Computing
Track 3: Pervasive/Ubiquitous Control, Computing and Networking
Track 4: Sensor/Actuator Networks
Track 5: Security, Trustworthiness and Privacy
Track 6: Applications and Services
Track 7: Cloud Computing and Data Mining
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
=====================
Authors are invited to submit original papers that MUST NOT have been
submitted to or published in any other workshop, conference, or jour-
nal. Full Papers (up to 8 pages) and Short Papers (up to 4 pages) are
solicited. Detailed submission instructions could be found on the confe-
rence website http://www.china-iot.net/CPSCom_submission.htm. All papers
will be reviewed by the Program Committee for significance, originality,
accuracy, and clarity.
PAPER PUBLICATIONS
==================
Each submission should be regarded as an undertaking that, if the paper
is accepted, at least one of the authors must attend the conference to
present the work in order for the paper to be included in the IEEE Digital
Library. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of CPSCom
2013 by IEEE Computer Society (EI indexed). Extended versions of se-
lected papers will be considered for publication in several SCI-index in-
ternational journals (check the website for details).
WORKSHOPS
=========
Submit a workshop paper to one of the workshops. Workshop proceedings will
be published by IEEE CS Press. Workshops with more than 15 papers will be
granted with a free complimentary registration for the leading workshop
organizer.
