Call for Workshop Proposals
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EICC 2020 is inviting proposals for high-quality workshops to be held a
day before the conference on 17 November 2020. The typical goal of a
workshop is to present and discuss in a thorough and more narrow manner,
a specific aspect of security and its interdisciplinary nature. EICC
2020 provides workshop organizers the opportunity to publish accepted
workshop papers as part of its conference proceedings. To be included in
EICC 2020 proceedings, workshop papers must follow the conference
submission guidelines and undergo the same rigorous double-blind
reviewing process as conference papers.

== Important dates ==

Proposal submission deadline: 28 May 2020
Acceptance notification: 7 days after submission

== COVID-19 Update ==

The EICC 2020 steering committee is carefully watching the COVID-19
situation around the globe and will take all possible measures to ensure
the safety of participants on one side and the success of the conference
on the other:

* Authors that cannot present at the conference due to the pandemic will
be allowed to present their work virtually.
* Conference proceedings will be published by ACM ICPS even if we have
to switch to an all-virtual conference.

== Workshops co-chairs ==

Luca Caviglione, IMATI - CNR (Italy)
Jean-Francois Lalande, CentraleSupélec / Inria (France)
Aleksandra Mileva, University Goce Delcev (North Macedonia)
Steffen Wendzel, Worms University of Applied Sciences (Germany)

== Submission guidelines ==

The official language of the conference and related workshops is English.

Workshop proposals should be structured:

* Workshop title and acronym (the acronym is optional)
* Abstract and list of topics
* Workshop program committee co-chairs
* Tentative workshop program committee
* Expected number of scientific papers, keynote/invited speakers,
posters and other presentations
* Paper categories - only scientific papers (full papers, short papers,
invited talks) may be included in the EICC 2020 proceedings
* Expected number of attendees and relation to on-going research projects
* Proposed deadlines (must be aligned with the conference camera-ready
deadline)

Submit workshop proposals to: eicc at fvv.uni-mb.si
