You are cordially invited to submit your chapter proposals for the second
edition of my book, "Internet of Things A to Z: Technologies and
Applications, Wiley-IEEE Press.


*Objectives*

The project aims to:

   - Provide a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the IoT.
   - Fill the gaps identified in the first edition of the book and
   offer a more complete and up-to-date resource on the subject.
   - Cover IoT core concepts and enabling technologies.
   - Discuss key security issues, practices, and solutions.
   - Present a diverse array of IoT applications.
   - Offer tutorials on some of the common IoT platforms.

*Submission Procedure*

Experienced researchers and practitioners with a good publication record
are invited to submit their chapter proposals for an initial evaluation. A
standard chapter proposal should be saved in Word format and include the
following:

   - A minimum of five keywords.
   - An extended abstract (approximately 500 words) that clearly explains
   the topic and contribution of the proposed chapter.
   - A tentative table of contents (TOC) of the chapter.
   - Authors' bios, affiliations, contact information, and Google Scholar
   links.


*Important*

   - There are NO submission or processing fees.
   - Authors of accepted chapters will receive a free copy of the book
   after publishing.
   - Contributors may submit multiple proposals if they wish.
   - All manuscripts must be original and not concurrently under
   consideration by other books, journals, or conferences.
   - All manuscripts will be reviewed thoroughly before a decision is made.
   - Wiley does not accept AI content, so please do not send proposals with
   AI content/language.
   - Proposals, manuscripts, and inquiries should be sent to the editor at

*Important Dates*

   - Proposal Submission: May 12, 2024
   - Proposal Review Notification:  May 15, 2024
   - Full Chapter Submission: July 15, 2024
   - Acceptance/Revision Notification: August 15, 2024
   - Camera-Ready: September 01, 2024
   - Submission to publisher: October 2024
   - Publication Year: 2025



*Manuscript Format*


   - An ideal chapter is expected to have approximately 25 pages; not a
   hard limit, though.
