There is currently a call for an "Assegno di ricerca" available at the

      Dipartimento di Matematica of the university of Pisa, 

on the theme

      CONCRETE KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN COMMUTATIVE ALGEBRA

The deadline for applications is 


                    15 NOVEMBER 2001.


The research will be conducted in cooperation with the proposed
project "Commutative and computational algebra", see

The grant is for two years, its amount is approximately 13000 Euro
yearly, and is tax exempt. An university degree is required, but no
PhD degree is required. 

The starting date of the grant can be negotiated.
