why the definition of the function might not be obvious.
I don't know if David has a typo or not, but I do not think we should
specify where the branch cut lies. If I remember correctly, Maple and
Mathematica differ on where they do branch cuts. Do we want to favor one
over the other? have two sets of arc trig functions? Maybe NAG uses even
different branch cuts...
That's why, the less said, the better.
