ISSAC 2013
Second Call for Software Presentations

International Symposium on Symbolic and Algebraic Computation
Boston, Massachusetts, June 26-29, 2013, USA

The ISSAC 2013 conference is sponsored by ACM

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: the ISSAC 2013 conference exceptionally features
an invited software talk by Stephen Wolfram.

NEW: the maximal length of abstracts for software presentations
has been extended from 3 to 4 pages. As usual, the abstracts
will be published in the ACM SIGSAM Communications in Computer Algebra.

ISSAC, the International Symposium on Symbolic and Algebraic
Computation, is the premier annual gathering of the Symbolic
Mathematical Computation community to present and discuss new
developments and original research results in symbolic and algebraic

Software developers are invited to present new software for solving
problems in symbolic and algebraic computation at ISSAC 2013.
Presenters will be given at least 15 minutes to demonstrate
their software to participants in a special session for software
presentations. There will be 5 additional minutes between
presentations for questions and setup.

Please submit an extended abstract in PDF format describing your
software and what you will present at ISSAC to Joris van der Hoeven
by email atsoftware2013 at issac-conference.org. Please include
in the subject heading ISSAC 2013 Software Presentation.
Please include a valid URL or contact address for obtaining
the software packages and documentation.

Abstracts will be evaluated based on content, novelty, originality,
importance and the potential value of the software to the community.
Please identify in your extended abstract what is new that will be
presented at ISSAC 2013. If you are also presenting a related paper
at ISSAC 2013, please identify, in your email, the differences between
the two presentations. You may also present your software as a poster.

Extended abstracts of accepted software presentations will be distributed
at the symposium and also printed in an issue of the ACM SIGSAM
Communications in Computer Algebra. These published versions of
extended abstracts will be restricted to a maximum of 4 pages.
The final versions should be prepared using the sigsam.sty style
with an 11pt or 12pt font. The style file may be downloaded here:

Software presentations can be on any topic mentioned in the Call for
Papers of ISSAC 2013 which include but are not restricted to the
following areas:

     * Algorithmic Mathematics: Algebraic, Symbolic and
       Symbolic-Numeric Algorithms.

     * Computer Science: Theoretical and practical problems
       in Symbolic Computation.

     * Applications: Of Symbolic or Symbolic-Numeric algorithms in novel or
essential ways, in Education, The Sciences, Engineering, or Business.
